My Personal Battle with Cancer

In 1986, I had a tumor on left top of my scalp that measured about 3/4 by 3/8 of an inch. I went to my doctor in Burbank, California and he suggested that I have it removed in the office. I was fully concious during the surgery and remember the nurse almost passing out because of the blood. The plan was for them to send the sample off to the lab, but lo and behold they lost the sample. In three months the tumor had returned full size and the doctor removed it again. This time he sent it to City of Hope and they reported that it was definitely lymphoma. Radiation was prescribed and I had 3000 rads over the course of a month. I lost a three inch circle of my hair which had a clump of hair in the center of it which appeared to be the image of a donut. My companions at work had fun with that one. Side effects from radiation: I lost a lot of my feeling in my lower legs.

I should add that I have had about 35 basal cell carcinoma cancers removed from various parts of my body over the years. This is probably due to all of the time spent on the sunny beaches of Southern California, as a youth. (nice memories of Laguna Beach and Malibu...:)

If I had known what I know today I might not have had to go through that experience. My diet of rich, unhealthy foods made my cholesterol rise over the top. At 350 I was warned that I needed to start on a better eating regimen. I had been a heavy smoker at two and on half packs per day up until I quit suddenly in 1980.

Early in 2011 I was diagnost with a rare form of lymphoma of the skin and had it removed by a surgeon in San Francisco. I decided to go online and do some investigation of "natural cancer cures" that were being discussed.

The first treatment that I found was using a substance called Graviola,which is originally a fruit from a large tree in the Amazonian jungle. I guess the natives there had been using it for hundreds of years. A Dr. Rath has been creating substances that work on a cellular level. And then there is Dr. Burzynski in Houston, Texas, that has been working on cancer cures using his own formulas of peptides, with amazing results.
